On Monday, 8 May, Parma hosted the 26th edition of the World Pizza Championship, with 730 participants from 38 nations, who challenged for three consecutive days. Among the participants two have emerged for their heart and their skills. Especially for Caseificio Giordano: Saimir Shemilli from Pizzeria Tabisca in Turin and Francesco Giuliani from Pizzeria da Zio Carmine in Gattinara. They who competed using Mozzarella Braid and Mozzarella with Bufala Milk, both ingredients signed by Caseificio Giordano.
Competitors who have been challenged in the 12 competition categories have created real works of art. Quality products and ingredients with certified provenance were the protagonists.
On Wednesday, May 10, the winners were announced. And we can proudly say that the proposals by Saimir Shemilli and Francesco Giuliani have been highlighted for innovation, the peculiarity of the presentation and the quality of the ingredients.
